17th Jan - I am pleased to say I finished in a time of 1.51.45 - nothing fancy for me, especially as it was a cold day.

All of this running about in cold weather is to raise awareness of the Encephalitis Society.  This was set up by a group of people who all had family members who suffered from the illness and found a lack of information about the condition.  It finally came about some 22 years ago and slowly over the years has grown.  From being in a room in Elaine;s House (she was the ONE who pulled it all together at the start), to developing information leaflets, the first website, introducing medial people in the charity, to now where is has offices in Malton staffed by a highly dedicated team (got to say ;)) - and they are dedicated!
